Butterfly Earrings Quartz

These Butterfly Earrings are laser-cut in sterling silver with a quartz gemstone by Tsimshian artist Morgan Asoyuf.

The Native Butterfly symbolizes transformation, metamorphosis, beauty, balance, and grace. The butterfly is often depicted in Pacific Northwest Coast Native mythology as the companion, scout and spokesperson for the raven. Butterfly often helps the raven by leading raven to food sources and to creatures hiding from the raven.

The earrings measure approximately 1 1/4 inches or 3 1/2 centimeters in length, and approximately 3/4 inch or 2 centimetres in width.
